Two thirds of Doric Anderton staff have been with the company for over 10 years. We have a field based sales team, with decades of industry experience, providing national coverage. As important to our customers is the quality of our “back office”, ensuring our products are of exceptional quality and are delivered on time, at the right price.
Peter has previously established and built to a substantial scale, a supplier of goods not for resale to the major retailers in the UK. The business, Brierley Almond Limited, was sold to Bunzl plc in 1999, creating the Bunzl Retail Division. Peter continued to run the business post acquisition, during a period in which turnover approximately doubled.
Executive Director, Sales and Marketing
Having completed his MBA at Babson College in Boston USA, Robert led the buy-in to Doric Anderton Ltd in 2004. Robert has extensive experience in sales, marketing and business development within supply and distribution businesses and has used this knowledge to mould Doric Anderton’s current purchasing and selling strategy.
Executive Director, Operations
Prior to joining Doric Anderton in January 2005, Simon was the UK Operations Director of Bunzl Retail. He managed the day to day operation of this business, which had a turnover of c.£100m, employing over 130 staff. Simon has brought his considerable experience within fast growing supply and distribution businesses to implement robust systems and controls which mean the business is consistently able to offer excellent levels of quality in its products and services.
Executive Director, Finance
Bruce trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, where he spent five years, before moving on to Rickitt Mitchell and Partners, one of the UK’s leading independent corporate finance advisers, where he spent a further five years. He heads up the finance function at Doric Anderton and is responsible for business development strategy.
